What does OP stand for?

OP stands for Over Powered.

 

What security measures will you have in place?

We will have security guards, police officers, metal detectors, bag check, and wands. We have also communicated with the Irving Police Department regarding the event, in an effort to ensure safety for all of our attendees.

 

Will there be free to play video games?

YES! There will be several free play stations throughout OP Live, and maybe one or two special gaming opportunities to be announced…;)

 

Are there age restrictions?

Ages 5 and under get in for free.  Anyone under 13 must have a parent accompany them.

 

Are there any cosplay rules?

We encourage you to cosplay as your favorite gaming characters — but within limits. Make sure all prop weapons are properly marked and your cosplay does not pose a risk to yourself or others. Remember, this is a family-friendly event.

 

Can I bring in a stroller?

Yes, strollers are permitted in the venue.

 

Do I have to download the event app?

Yes, you must have the app for admittance into the event.  The OP Live App houses your digital ticket.

 

Will you be selling merch?

Yes, we will be selling merch onsite.

 

If I can’t attend the event, can I get a refund?

All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be offered.

 

Can I purchase my ticket onsite?

Yes, tickets can be purchased onsite.

 

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes, Irving Convention Center is handicap accessible.

 

Where do I park?

An 800-space parking structure is attached to the facility — there is a $10 parking fee to park in this garage.  We also have access to the parking garage at the Toyota Music Factory across the street — there is a $10 parking fee for this garage as well.  There is additional parking available within walking distance, as available.
