DALLAS, Sept. 20, 2018 – OP Live Dallas, a premier esports event Powered by Team Envy and the Dallas Fuel, kicks off Sept. 22-23, 2018 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. The event, which is expected to draw thousands of esports fans to North Texas, is being produced through the collaboration of eGency Global, a leading esports production, marketing and talent management firm and SMU (Southern Methodist University) Guildhall, the top ranked graduate school for video game design in the world.
At OP Live Dallas, esports fans will have the opportunity to meet, mingle with and watch many of their favorite pro esports players, cosplayers, streamers and industry influencers at the two-day event.

OP Live Dallas organizers have scheduled a variety of esports competitions and activities for its inaugural event. Attendees can enjoy a collegiate Overwatch tournament powered by Team Envy and the Dallas Fuel, the Bounty Royale Brawl featuring Fortnite, a Hackathon, the latest video games created by SMU Guildhall students and alumni, “Powered Talks” with esports industry leaders and influencers, parent education, exhibitor hall and more.
Funds raised by gamers during OP Live Dallas will benefit Extra LifeTM, an organization that supports local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®.
